The WAC Wine Club (WWC) was created to promote the understanding and appreciation of wine through education and tasting, while developing a social group for WAC members with interest in wine. Members’ knowledge about wine covers the entire spectrum — from “I know a red from a white” to “I think that one should have gotten a 91 instead of an 89 in Wine Spectator.”

The WAC Wine Club meets regularly in a relaxed, social environment to share and discuss various wine selections. Every year the WWC hosts six tasting meetings; three offering wines from our cellar and three from invited guest speakers. Each meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. with an informal social tasting, then at 6:30 p.m. the format shifts to an engaging presentation and discussion of the tasting’s featured wines.

In addition to our regular meetings, we hold several special events throughout the year. Past events have included dinners, tours, and educational presentations. See this year’s events calendar for upcoming meetings and events.

The WAC Wine Club is an independent, non-profit managed by a revolving executive committee of board members.
